WINTER SESSION

PRIVATE LESSONS IN VOICE, PIANO, GUITAR, UKULELE AND FLUTE

LGPAA has trained professionals that love the work they do and the students they work with, too. *You are automatically enrolled in Winter 2017 & Spring 2017; however, you’ll be invoiced separately for each session when you register for a private lesson or group class. Academy polices state that Payment is due PRIOR to the first day of a class or lesson.  Tuition may be paid in full for the year. RECITALS & PERFORMANCE SHOWCASES

ALL private students should plan to participate in the Formal Spring Recitals.  Students will select repertoire and prepare for the recital in lessons, with the help of their instructor.  There will be a VOCAL recital and an INSTRUMENTAL recital.  Recital fee of $30 per student covers facility rental and accompanist.  If your student is planning on participating in each recital, you will be invoiced in advance of the recital.  

PRIVATE LESSONS:  Important Details

Tuition:  Tuition for private lessons and group lessons is due, in full, PRIOR to the first day of the each session (Fall Session, Monday, September 18, 2016, Winter Session, Monday, January 9, 2017, and Spring Session, Monday April 3, 2017.) Payment will NOT be accepted by lesson or by month. Please email our Finance Director, Rusty Franklin, if you need to make special arrangements, at james.franklin@lgartsacademy.com  

Instructors:  For instruments with multiple instructors, you may request a specific instructor and every effort will be made to assign you accordingly, schedule allowing; however, we cannot make any guarantees.

Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Flute - No audition required.

Private Voice Lessons -

Students ages 12-adult are eligible to enroll in private voice lessons,  Most begin with half hour lessons; those with previous training or performance experience may be eligible to take one hour lessons.

 Voice – Audition on first day of lesson for ages 12-18.   Prepare audition piece, if available.  All students will be accepted.  

Group Voice Class - Students under 12 must participate in Group Voice Class before being considered for a Private Lesson slot.

Parents - ONLY ONE MAKE-UP lesson per session .  Lessons cancellation is 24- hours in advance.  Call 847-780-7464.  Please read Academy Policies.

Lessons for those interested in learning to play the piano, from beginner to advanced.  Student should have access to a keyboard or piano for practice between lessons.
